Hazelmere Gardens - Housing structures almost complete!

Hazelmere Gardens Structures

Our work on Hazelmere Gardens, a prestigious new housing development, is now well underway with building work progressing well. To date, everything has come in on budget and on time – so it won’t be too long before the housing development is complete.

As always, the successes so far are down to the contractors working well with the architect, Stuart Held, and no major issues have been encountered with the build to date.

In our last update, we told you that much of the groundwork had been completed and the roof structures were next – and we’re happy to confirm that the roof work is well underway too. The room-in-roof timber trussed rafter roof structure over Lime and Orchard Cottages is finished and the roof has been felted and battened. Furthermore, the primary structural steel members are now in place on the Coach House. You could say that the large crane became a landmark for a day whilst the roof structure was lifted into place!

Over the next few weeks – and the last few weeks of the summer – we’ll be completing the work on the roof and hopefully avoiding any heavy downpours! The first fix timber and services installation are about to begin and once this has been completed, we’ll be able to start the work inside. As the Coach House has already been sold, we are looking forward to working closely with the buyers to choose bespoke internal fixtures and finishes.

We look forward to updating you again soon and hopefully sharing some images of the completed structures.
